The body of the Blue Lagoon UV lamp (compatible with outputs of 40 W and 75 W) is the main structural part of the UV steriliser, which forms the flow-through pressure chamber through which pool water flows and is irradiated by the UV lamp. A cracked or damaged body causes water seepage or contamination of the electrical part of the device. The original replacement body retains the same flow profile and material design for maximum UV irradiation of the water. Replacing the body requires changing the seal and refitting the UV lamp and the quartz tube located inside. We recommend entrusting the replacement to an authorised technician.
