The transition socket nipple d40/50 × 1½“ with a longer thread is a PVC fitting designed for connecting smooth piping with a diameter of 40 or 50 mm to hydraulic parts fitted with a 1½“ BSP thread. The longer thread allows deeper screwing in and thus a stronger mechanical connection.
The part is made of durable PVC that resists chlorinated pool water, UV radiation and operating pressures in pool installations. The PVC material ensures a long service life without the risk of corrosion or degradation due to chemicals.
