The quartz tube seal is a genuine silicone O-ring designed for Elecro UV sterilisers. The seal seals the joint between the quartz tube protecting the UV lamp and the body of the steriliser, thereby preventing water from leaking into the electrical part of the device.
Replacement of the seal is necessary with every replacement of the UV lamp or quartz tube – using an old or deformed seal risks water leakage and damage to the steriliser electronics. The genuine part guarantees the correct dimensions and the temperature resistance of the material.
The silicone design of the seal ensures resistance to UV radiation, ozonisation and the temperatures generated during the operation of the UV lamp. The part is suitable for all Elecro UV steriliser models equipped with a standard quartz tube.
