The Mr.Pure suction strainer is a genuine filtration element located at the end of the suction hose of the dosing pump, where it prevents the suction of impurities, sediments or crystals from the pH correction or algicide container into the pump mechanism. By capturing solid particles, it protects the sensitive components of the peristaltic pump from damage and clogging.
The material of the suction strainer withstands concentrated chemicals for pool water treatment, including both acidic and alkaline pH correction agents and oxidising disinfectants. The fine mesh of the strainer has a sufficiently large flow area so as not to cause excessive resistance in the suction line.
Replacing the suction strainer is an easy and quick operation, which we recommend carrying out once a season or whenever a drop in the flow of the dosing pump is detected.
