The securing clip at position 16 is a stainless steel or plastic fastening element of Elecro UV sterilisers that holds the protective quartz sleeve or lamp in the correct position in the steriliser body.
Without a correctly functioning clip there is a risk of the lamp shifting from its optimal position, which reduces the effectiveness of the UV radiation and may damage the lamp sleeve.
The part is made of a material resistant to moisture and chemicals, and its replacement takes only a few minutes during standard servicing of the UV steriliser.
We recommend replacing the clip whenever the UV lamp is replaced to guarantee the correct seating of the new lamp.
