The SPAOP 21 W UV steriliser is a compact in-line unit designed for the hygienic treatment of pool or hot tub water with UV-C radiation at a wavelength of 254 nm. Radiation of this wavelength is maximally effective at destroying the DNA of microorganisms – bacteria, algae, mould and viruses.
The compact design with an integrated UV lamp and transparent quartz tube allows easy installation into the existing circulation pipework without the need for major modifications to the distribution lines. The 21 W power input guarantees a sufficient UV radiation dose for effective disinfection at the recommended flow rates.
The use of a UV steriliser significantly reduces the need for chemical disinfectants, thereby protecting customers’ skin and extending the service life of the pool equipment. Suitable for pools up to approx. 60 m³ or hot tubs where hygienically clean water with minimal chemistry matters.
