The tapping saddle is a special fitting designed to create a side branch on existing pipework of 110 mm diameter. After drilling a hole into the pipe and fitting the saddle, a firm and watertight joint with a 3/4″ threaded connection is created, to which any threaded part can be attached.
The saddle is made of PVC or a similar material resistant to chlorinated pool water and UV radiation. The double sealing ring ensures the watertightness of the joint even under the standard operating pressure of pool circulation.
Typical applications include connecting a pressure gauge, additional jets, an automatic dosing pump or a bleed valve to an existing pipe run without the need to replace the entire pipe section. Installation is quick and does not require PVC welding.
