The ORP (Redox) probe is an analytical sensor measuring the electrochemical potential of pool water, which directly indicates the water’s ability to disinfect and eliminate pathogens. The data from the probe is used by the Mr.Pure control unit for automatic dosing of the disinfectant.
Accurate measurement of the ORP value ensures that the water is always sufficiently disinfected without overdosing chemicals, which would irritate the skin and mucous membranes of bathers. The probe is made of materials resistant to aggressive pool chemicals.
The original Mr.Pure probe is fully compatible with the control units of the Mr.Pure Medium and Mr.Pure Profi series. Calibration of the probe is carried out using certified calibration solutions and is recommended once per season to maintain measurement accuracy.
