The union nut is a hydraulic fitting used to mechanically secure the pipe connection on the suction or discharge of InverPro and Mr.Master pumps. Together with the collar and the sealing ring, it forms a complete watertight pipe connection.
The nut is designed for easy tightening even by hand or with a short wrench, so installing or replacing the pump does not require special tools. The original design guarantees compatibility with the thread of the pump body.
A damaged or cracked union nut causes water leaks at the point of connection. Replacement is quick and economical – it is one of the most frequently replaced small parts during the servicing of pool pumps.
