The InverPro pump body gasket is a round or shaped seal located in the parting plane of the pump’s hydraulic housing. It ensures a watertight connection between the individual body parts and prevents the pumped water from leaking into the surroundings.
A cracked or permanently deformed gasket manifests itself as a visible water leak from the pump body. Replacement is a mandatory part of every general overhaul or any disassembly of the pump during other service work.
The gasket is made of an elastomer resistant to chlorinated water and temperature fluctuations. During installation, we recommend lightly lubricating the gasket with silicone grease to ensure proper seating and extend its service life.
