Collector hub body for SMG 500/650 filter tanks

The SMG 500/650 collector hub body is the central plastic part of the collector system inside the filter tank. It serves as the load-bearing element onto which the individual collector laterals are fitted, and at the same time as the central pipe ensuring the outflow of filtered water from the tank back into the pool.

A properly functioning collector hub is an essential prerequisite for even flow distribution across the entire surface of the sand media and for effective capture of impurities. A damaged or cracked collector hub causes impurities or sand to leak back into the pool.

The part is compatible with SMG 500 and SMG 650 tanks and is made of durable, UV-stable plastic. Replacement is carried out after the sand has been completely removed from the tank, the valve dismantled and the entire collector assembly taken out.
