The COFIE skimmer seals measuring 20×15 mm are supplied in a set of two pieces and serve to seal the flange joint of the skimmer body to the pool wall. Without a functional seal, water can seep into the concrete or laminate structure and cause serious damage to the pool.
The seals are made of rubber resistant to pool chemistry, UV radiation and long-term immersion in water. The precise dimensions of 20×15 mm correspond to the original specification of the COFIE skimmer and guarantee correct seating without excessive deformation of the seal when the flange bolts are tightened.
Replacement of the seal is recommended each time the skimmer is removed from the pool wall, when water seepage is detected or as part of regular winter maintenance. New seals are a guarantee of the watertightness of the installation without the risk of damage to the surrounding structure.
