The US 2″/1½” reducer from the manufacturer Waterway is a transition fitting that enables the connection of components with an American 2″ thread to pipework or fittings with a 1½” thread. It is used in particular in hot tub spas, pools with American hydraulics, or when connecting Waterway pumps and jets.
The part is made of durable ABS plastic resistant to the chemicals of pool or hot tub water, temperatures and mechanical stress. The precise threaded design in the American standard (US thread) guarantees a tight joint when correctly tightened with the use of Teflon tape.
