The two-component WEICON structural adhesive is specially formulated for bonding polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE), i.e. plastics with low surface energy that standard adhesives cannot join. The base of the adhesive is methacrylate, which chemically anchors into the structure of both bonded parts.
The adhesive is packaged in a two-component 24 ml cartridge with a mixing nozzle, which ensures precise mixing of the components in the optimal ratio directly during application without the need for manual mixing. After curing, it creates a strong, watertight and chemically resistant bond.
The product is suitable for repairs of plastic fittings, mouldings, pump baskets and other PP or PE components in pool and plumbing technology. Follow the manufacturer’s safety instructions and ensure adequate ventilation during application.
