The replacement UV lamp (tube) type S8Q/2 is designed for the Permobiostil 2700 UV steriliser and forms its key functional part. The UV radiation produced by the lamp destroys the DNA of microorganisms and bacteria passing through the steriliser, thereby supplementing chemical disinfection and reducing chlorine consumption. UV lamps gradually lose their radiation intensity, which is why the manufacturer recommends replacing the lamp once a year regardless of visible damage. The original lamp meets the steriliser’s performance parameters. Replacement is simple and can be carried out by a layperson following the enclosed instructions.
