The O-ring seal of the NEWBCC pump body is a rubber ring of precise cross-section and diameter that seals the joint between the front and rear parts of the pump’s hydraulic body. Water leakage through this seal is one of the most common causes requiring pool pump servicing. The original O-ring made of durable elastomer ensures the correct firmness and chemical resistance. We recommend always replacing the seal when opening the pump during a service inspection or when replacing the mechanical seal. Installation involves fitting the O-ring into the groove before tightening the parts of the pump body.
