Water temperature directly affects the rate of chemical reactions, disinfection efficiency and the performance of the electrolyser cell, which is why knowing the current temperature is important for optimal system settings. The card is installed into the appropriate slot of the control electronics without the need to modify the hardware or firmware. The measured temperature is shown on the device display and can serve as a condition for triggering heating or other automation elements. The original part ensures full integration with the SMC control software.
