The motor of the peristaltic dosing pump is the drive component that powers the pumping hose and enables precise dosing of the pH correction agent into the pool water. A failure of the motor causes automatic dosing to stop and a deviation of the pH from the required value. The original motor matches the performance specification and installation dimensions of the pump in the SMC salt chlorinator unit. Replacing the motor is a service task that does not require disassembly of the entire device. After installation, the dosing accuracy can be verified by calibrating the pump flow.
