The GLV 500 filter tank is designed for pools with a filtration flow rate of up to 9.5 m³/h, corresponding to pools of approximately 50–80 m³ at standard six-fold daily filtration. The tank holds 100 kg of filter sand or alternative filter medium (glass beads, active sand).
The tank body is made of durable glass-reinforced polyester (FRP/GRP) resistant to the corrosive environment of pool water and to UV radiation. The integrated six-way valve allows filtration, backwashing, rinsing, circulation or draining of water with a single turn of the control knob.
The tank is equipped with connections for standard pipework and a pressure gauge for monitoring pressure. When the pressure rises more than 0.5 bar above the operating pressure, a backwash should be carried out. We recommend installation in a covered technical space or with a protective cover.
