The nipple d50 × ext. 1 1/2″ serves as a bulkhead fitting for connecting pipework to the body of a filter or other pool tank. The extended external thread allows firm tightening and minimises the risk of water leakage at higher operating pressure.
The d50 connection diameter corresponds to standard PVC pipes and fittings commonly used in pool hydraulics. The part is made of hydraulic PVC resistant to pool chemicals and UV radiation.
Installation is straightforward – the nipple is screwed into the prepared hole in the tank and sealed with a suitable sealant or PTFE tape. Suitable for new installations and repairs of existing systems.
