Skimmer Basket Hayward

The filter basket for the Hayward skimmer is a perforated plastic container that captures coarse floating impurities – leaves, insects, algae and other organic residues – from the skimmer chamber before they could reach the suction side of the pump and cause its clogging or damage. The correct function of the skimmer basket extends the service life of the pump and reduces the load on the sand filter. The original Hayward basket is precisely shaped for the relevant type of skimmer and allows easy removal, emptying and refitting without tools. The material resistant to chlorine and UV radiation guarantees long-term strength and prevents deformation of the part. We recommend cleaning the basket 1–2 times a week during the active season.
