The transparent lid for the pre-filter basket of the KAPRI pump is a plastic part closing the access opening to the pre-filter basket. The transparent material allows regular visual inspection of the condition and clogging of the basket without the need to dismantle it. A cracked or deformed lid causes leaks, air suction and a drop in pump performance. The original lid is made of durable polycarbonate or ABS resistant to chlorinated water and UV radiation. Replacing a cracked lid is quick and immediately restores the correct function and hermetic sealing of the pre-filter.
