The gasket under the QS manometer is a small but indispensable component ensuring the watertight and airtight mounting of the manometer in the connection thread of the filter tank or another pressure point of the pool installation. Without a quality gasket, leakage of water or air occurs along with an incorrect pressure reading.
The gasket is made of a material resistant to chlorinated water, pool chemicals and temperature fluctuations, thereby guaranteeing a long service life without hardening or cracking. The dimensions correspond to the standard thread of the QS manometer.
We recommend replacing the gasket whenever the manometer is removed and reinstalled, to ensure reliable pressure measurement and the tightness of the entire connection.
