The ceramic mechanical seal is a key sealing element of Espa pool pumps of the NIPER, Basic and NOX series in sizes 20 and 25 mm. It protects the motor from the ingress of water along the shaft and ensures leak-free operation of the pump.
The ceramic sliding ring in combination with a rubber sleeve offers excellent resistance to abrasive particles, chemicals and the thermal fluctuations of pool water. Replacing the seal is quick and does not require professional facilities.
Regular inspection and timely replacement of the worn seal will extend the service life of the entire pump and prevent costly repairs caused by water seepage into the motor section.
