The replacement quartz glass LIFEUVMQ03 is an original component intended for the medium-pressure UV lamps ProfiPure 100 and ProfiPure 200 from the manufacturer Lifetech s.r.o. The quartz glass separates the UV lamp from the flow of pool water and must be transparent to the entire spectrum of UV radiation emitted by the lamp.
Over time, mineral deposits and limescale build up on the quartz glass, reducing the transmission of UV radiation and thus the disinfecting efficiency of the lamp. Regular replacement or cleaning of the quartz tube is therefore an essential part of UV steriliser maintenance.
The original part guarantees the correct dimensions and maximum transmissivity for the wavelengths of UV radiation generated by the ProfiPure lamp. Replacement is simple after disconnecting the steriliser from the electrical network and the piping; the procedure is described in the lamp’s operating manual.
