The EPDM sealing segment is an original rubber component that ensures the water-tightness of the passage or joint on Preva, Ondina and Mini skimmers. EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) is a special synthetic rubber with excellent resistance to ozonated and chlorinated water, UV radiation and temperature cycles from -40 to +120 °C.
Wear or ageing of the sealing segment manifests itself as slow water leaks in the skimmer area, which can cause undermining of the surrounding pool structure or moisture around the installation. Timely replacement of the segment prevents costly repairs to the structural part of the pool.
Replacing the sealing segment is simple and can be carried out by an experienced pool technician without excavation work. The original EPDM segment matches the manufacturer’s dimensions exactly and guarantees tightness at the operating pressure of the pool system.
