The starting block platform is a key element of the competition starting equipment installed at the edge of competition and sports pools. It forms the standing surface from which swimmers start and must therefore meet strict requirements for strength, stability and slip resistance.
The part is made of a durable material approved for operation in the environment of pool chemicals and humidity. The surface of the platform is treated for maximum slip resistance even on a wet surface, thereby contributing to the safety of the competitors at the start.
The platform is designed as a replacement part for existing starting blocks in competition pools – we recommend replacing it upon detection of mechanical damage, cracking or significant wear of the original surface to maintain safety and compliance with competition regulations.
