The SS075 model is one of the more powerful pumps in the SS series and its capacitor has a higher capacitance than smaller models – it is therefore important to use the exact replacement designed specifically for this model.
A correctly rated capacitor prevents overheating of the windings, extends the motor’s service life and ensures smooth operation throughout the entire filtration season.
Replacement is carried out by disconnecting the power supply and simply reconnecting two supply wires – the job typically takes less than 15 minutes.
We recommend preventive replacement of the capacitor every 3–5 years, or immediately once the fault symptoms described above appear.
