Electrolytic Cell ESR 160/200 – Pooltechnologie (Monarch/Davey)

The ESR 160/200 electrolytic cell is a replacement production element for the Monarch and Davey salt chlorination units from Pooltechnologie. The cell electrolytically splits a solution of NaCl (table salt) into sodium hypochlorite, which serves as a natural disinfectant without the need to handle conventional chlorine.

Once the service life of the original cell is reached (typically 3–5 years with proper operation), the chlorinator stops producing a sufficient amount of disinfectant. Replacing the ESR 160/200 cell restores the full performance of the system and is significantly cheaper than purchasing a new salt chlorination unit.

To achieve optimal cell service life, keep the salt concentration within the recommended range and regularly clean the cell of calcium deposits. Installation should be carried out by an experienced pool technician according to the enclosed instructions.
