The impeller screw is a fastening element that holds the impeller in the precise position on the shaft of the New Contra pump. Without a correctly tightened screw, there is a risk of axial movement of the impeller, uneven wear and possible damage to the bearings or the seal.
The original screw is made of a corrosion-resistant material resistant to moisture and pool chemicals. Observing the prescribed tightening torque during installation is key to trouble-free operation.
Suitable as part of a spare parts kit during a complete repair of the pump’s hydraulic section, or as a replacement for a damaged screw during a service operation.
