The BARENT URSA MINOR II filter vessel with a 620 mm diameter and a 1.2 m bed height is designed for water filtration in public pools with higher load. The larger filter bed volume compared with the 1.0 m version extends backwashing intervals and increases the overall filtration efficiency.
The vessel is made of polyester resin reinforced with glass fibres – this material resists UV radiation, chlorine and the mechanical stress of backwashing. The nozzle distributor ensures homogeneous distribution of the filtered water.
A side opening and sight glass allow visual inspection of the filter bed condition without having to open the vessel. The quick-release lid provides easy access for servicing or replacement of the filter media.
