Pre-filter lid of the ESPA Niper pump (internal thread)

The pre-filter lid of the ESPA Niper pump serves as the closure of the inspection opening through which the filter basket – which captures coarse debris from the pool suction – is removed and cleaned. The version with an internal thread allows manual opening without the need for wrenches.

The transparent or solid version of the lid prevents air from being drawn into the pump, thereby protecting the hydraulics against loss of suction and cavitation. Regular cleaning of the basket under the lid extends the service life of the pump impeller.

When replacing, restore a damaged or cracked lid with an original ESPA part to guarantee a correct seal. An incorrectly fitted or damaged lid can cause loss of pump performance or damage to it.
