The gasket (position 19) is located under the double nipple of the Elecro G2 heat exchanger and ensures absolute tightness at the point where the nipple enters the body of the heat exchanger.
Even a minor defect in this gasket would cause water to leak into the surroundings of the heat exchanger and could damage electrical parts or the plant room structure.
The gasket material is resistant to the temperature of heated pool water, chemicals and the continuous hydraulic pressure in the circuit.
The gasket is a consumable part that should be replaced preventively with every disassembly of the heat exchanger’s nipple connection.
