Pump Seal FD 123–137

The pump seal FD 123–137 is a mechanical shaft seal used to seal the area around the pump shaft, where the shaft passes through the pump casing from the motor section to the hydraulic section.

Wear or damage to the seal manifests itself as dripping or visible water leakage under the pump. Timely replacement of the seal prevents more serious damage to the bearings or motor winding caused by moisture.

The part is made for the diameter range 123–137 mm corresponding to the FD pump series. Replacing the seal is a service operation recommended during every general overhaul of the pump or immediately after a leak is detected.
