A correctly tightened fixing nut holds the rear cover of the light under defined pressure, thereby ensuring the permanent watertightness of the assembly. A loosened or damaged nut can lead to water penetrating the electrical part of the luminaire and a subsequent short circuit or failure.
Replacement of the fixing nut is carried out during the service disassembly of the light or when thread damage is detected. The original part guarantees correct dimensions and material strength corresponding to the requirements of the pool environment.
