Drain Plug for AS Pumps – Hexagonal (6-coil pump)

The drain plug for AS pumps is a hexagonal plastic plug that closes the drain hole in the pump’s pre-filter body. When winterizing the pool or during servicing, unscrew it so that water can drain freely from the pump hydraulics, thereby preventing frost damage.

The plug is dimensioned for hexagonal pump pre-filters of the AS series (6-coil type). The plastic design resists pool chemistry, UV radiation and the mechanical stress of repeated screwing. It is advisable to keep a supply of spare plugs, as small parts can be lost during winterization. Installation and removal require no special tools.
