The complete PLUS winding device in a fixed version is designed for cover sheets of pools 6.0–8.0 metres wide. The rigid aluminium or stainless steel axle with support legs ensures the stability of the winding mechanism even for wide pools, where flexible systems would not be suitable.

Regularly covering the pool surface with a cover sheet reduces evaporation, prevents contamination by debris and significantly limits heat loss – operational savings on heating costs can reach up to 50 %.
