The BWT Protector mini HWS C/R 3/4″ offers the same functions as the 1/2″ model but with a larger thread cross-section that meets the needs of installations with higher flow rates. The filter screen with a 100 µm rating removes coarser solid impurities from both drinking and service water and protects downstream fittings, appliances and water treatment equipment.
The integrated pressure-reducing valve stabilises the outlet pressure, reduces water consumption by up to 50 % and eliminates noise caused by excessive pressure in the pipework. Manual backwashing requires neither disconnection from the pipework nor replacement of the filter cartridge. The filter is not suitable for media with a lubricating effect or for substances soluble in water.
