The BWT Protector mini C/R 1/2″ is an upstream mechanical filter designed to protect water pipework, fittings and water treatment equipment from foreign solid particles – pieces of rust, shavings, sand or other sediments. The 30 µm filtration captures even fine impurities that could cause wear or corrosion of downstream components.
The filter is equipped with a manual backwash valve, so captured impurities can be easily removed without dismantling the housing and without the need to replace the filter cartridge. The 1/2″ connection corresponds to a standard domestic line for drinking and service water. The filter is not intended for media with lubricating properties nor for the filtration of substances soluble in water.
