This combined system unites the effectiveness of UV-C radiation with the oxidising power of ozone, thereby achieving comprehensive pool water treatment in a single compact device with a power input of 80 W. Ozone O₃ oxidises and eliminates microorganisms including legionella, parasites and algae, as well as organic residues such as sweat, urine or sunscreen, and after fulfilling its function decomposes completely out of the water.
UV-C radiation with a wavelength of 253.7 nm simultaneously deactivates all pathogens passing through the lamp body, so the water leaving the device is microbiologically clean and rich in oxygen. Thanks to this dual action, the amount of pool chemistry added can be reduced by up to 90 %, which benefits both the wallet and the health of bathers. The device is suitable for private and public pools and hot tubs.
