The TOP VF 500 filter tank is a larger variant of the proven TOP VF range, made of durable HDPE with a maximum operating pressure of 4 bar. The charge capacity of 95 kg of sand or an equivalent amount of activated AFM media covers the filtration needs of larger domestic pools.
The double filter spider ensures an even flow of water through the entire filter bed and eliminates flow short-circuits that would reduce filtration efficiency. The higher sand bed extends the filtration time between individual backwashes.
The HDPE tank body is completely inert to pool chemistry and UV radiation – neither the colour nor the mechanical strength changes even after many seasons of operation. The tank is connected using standard flanges compatible with common 1½“ or 2″ multivalves.
