The Badu ECO Drive II frequency converter is designed for continuous speed control of Speck pool pumps with an output of 0.75 kW. The 380–480 V (three-phase) supply ensures compatibility with the standard plant rooms of commercial and private pools.
By reducing the pump speed outside peak operation, the system achieves energy savings of up to 60–70 % compared to a direct start at full output, while the water flow remains sufficient to maintain water quality.
Integrated control allows the setting of various speed programmes and time schedules, so the pump automatically switches between power levels as needed. Protective functions include overvoltage protection, thermal motor protection and dry-running protection.
