The d167 lid seal for new-type HGS pumps is a precisely profiled O-ring made of elastomer resistant to pool chemicals and operating temperatures. The 167 mm diameter matches the groove in the pre-filter lid of the current HGS range.
A worn or cracked seal manifests itself as water leaking around the lid or air being drawn into the pump, which leads to reduced performance and noisy operation. Replacing it with a new original part immediately restores full functionality.
Replacement procedure: shut off the water supply, unscrew the lid, replace the O-ring and tighten the lid again. The entire operation takes just a few minutes and requires no specialised tools.
