The Ti-30 electrolytic cell is a key component of the Aseko ASIN Aqua Salt salt chlorinator, where it produces chlorine directly in the pool circuit through electrolysis of an NaCl solution. The titanium electrodes coated with precious metal oxides are resistant to electrochemical corrosion and maintain high efficiency throughout the cell’s service life.
Once the electrodes have reached the end of their life – indicated by a drop in chlorine production and an error message from the control unit – replacing the cell is the most economical way to restore the system. The new cell is installed in place of the original one without the need for any modifications to the piping or wiring.
The original Aseko cell guarantees compatibility with the ASIN Aqua Salt control unit and correct calibration of the production output. The service life is usually in the range of 5–8 years, depending on water quality and operating conditions.
