The pre-filter lid seal is a key sealing part in the pre-filter area of the Swimmey pump. Its damage or material ageing leads to water leakage from the lid, which reduces the pump’s operating pressure and causes unnecessary water losses.
The original dimensions ensure a precise seating of the seal in the lid groove and an airtight seal without the need for excessive tightening force. The material withstands chlorinated water and other pool preparations.
Replacement of the seal is recommended whenever the lid is dismantled or at the latest when the first signs of water leakage appear. Preventive replacement once per season is an economically advantageous choice for keeping the pump in perfect condition.
