Wear of the impeller manifests itself as a reduction in flow through the filtration, increased noise or cavitation. Replacing the original restores full hydraulic performance without the need to purchase a new pump.
The part is made of engineering plastic resistant to pool chemicals and is precisely balanced to minimize vibration and load on the motor bearings.
