The standard polystyrene through block is a building element designed for the construction of thermally insulated pool walls using the permanent formwork method. The dimensions of 120×25×25 cm and the polystyrene webs ensure a solid structure with an optimal ratio of thermal insulation and concrete consumption.
The heat transfer coefficient U = 0.269 W/m²K and thermal resistance R = 3.55 m²K/W place this block among the excellently insulated building elements, thanks to which the pool loses a minimum of heat to the surrounding environment. The concrete consumption during concreting is 0.14 m³/m² of wall, while the maximum size of the stone component in the semi-liquid concrete must not exceed d-max = 16 mm.
The blocks are supplied as open or closed and are easily stacked on top of each other without special tools. They are suitable for building new pools with direct concreting into polystyrene formwork, eliminating the need for classic wooden formwork. The price applies per piece.
