Bottom part of filter QT500

The bottom part of the QT 500 filter vessel (diameter 500 mm) forms the lower hemispherical part of the pressure vessel of the sand filter. This part houses the collector connections, the drain valve, and possibly the feet for stabilising the filter. The material, resistant to pressure of up to 3.5 bar and to pool water chemicals, guarantees a long service life. Cracking of the bottom part is most often caused by frost when the filter is not drained before winter. Replacing the bottom part extends the service life of the entire filter assembly and is more economical than purchasing a new vessel. The original part is fully compatible with the top part and the other components of the QT500 filter.
