Seal Under Lantern (LN) ESPA Niper, Iris, Silen, Silen I, Silen S, NOX – 53×3.5 mm

The seal under the lantern (LN) measuring 53×3.5 mm is an O-ring placed between the hydraulic body and the lantern (intermediate piece) of ESPA pumps, namely for the Niper, Iris, Silen, Silen I, Silen S and NOX ranges.

The function of this seal is essential – it prevents pool water from penetrating into the area of the shaft and motor bearings, which would cause their rapid wear or a short circuit of the windings.

A damaged or hardened seal manifests itself as moisture or dripping in the area of the joint between the hydraulics and the pump motor.

Replacement is part of a standard overhaul of the mechanical seal and is carried out when dismantling the hydraulic section of the pump from the motor.

Thanks to its compatibility with six ESPA model ranges, this 53×3.5 mm O-ring is a key part of every service stock for these pumps.
