The tapping saddle with metal reinforcement 63 × 1″ is used to create a side draw-off or supply point directly on existing DN63 piping. The metal reinforcement strengthens the joint and prevents the PVC pipe from cracking during tightening, thereby ensuring a permanently tight connection. The 1″ (inch) thread allows direct connection of standard fittings, probes or connections without transition pieces. It is suitable for use with fresh and pool water, for installation in the distribution circuits of filtration, dosing stations as well as measuring fittings. The saddle can be applied while the system is in operation, provided the pipe is closed off by a service valve.
